“Fix It: Healthcare at the Tipping Point,” a film about health care from a businessman’s perspective, will be shown Monday, June 13, at 7 p.m. at the Voorheesville Public Library, 51 School Road, Voorheesville.
The 55-minute film takes an in-depth look at the backers’ claim of how the health care system is damaging the U.S. economy and hurting the nation’s health, while remaining unaffordable for a third of American citizens.
Following the film, a discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Cliff Casey and Dr. Richard Propp.
The event is sponsored by Capital District Alliance for Universal Healthcare, Physicians for a National Health Program – Capital District Chapter, Single Payer New York and League of Women Voters of New York State. Visit http://fixithealthcare.com/.
